I couldn't resist playing around in photoshop and dropping the saturation on these pictures (you will have to forgive my lack of consistency, but it was afterall, an experiment). Anyway, I do like this set and call it simply "Hope." Enjoy.

I named this "Simple White Chair" because the set is simple and my makeup is of the every day variety making for a very simple look, but I do hope it is pleasing to the eye and I quite like the results. So much so that "Simple White Chair" is a two part series. Enjoy!

For this set, I gave myself a promotion from passenger to Cruise Director and my duties include your entertainment. I thought this outfit of gold lame and jewelery had a ancient Egyptian flair, so I bypassed Cleopatra for another great Egyptian Queen, Nefertiti. The story behind this series is that my photographer and I were experimenting with natural lighting and had to jump the ISO way up on the camera. Unfortunately, the originals were very grainy and yellow, so I set about in Photoshop to rescue them. I tried various filters (sepia, old time photographics, film grain, etc) and wasn't happy with the result. I was about to give up when I discovered a filter to transform the image to a watercolor effect, and then faded it. Without going into the gory details, I think I rescued this series but you will see the effects of the filter in some of the images. I hope you find it a nice change.

"Watercolor Nefertiti" will be followed by one or two sets of "Erotic Nefertiti" shot under standard studio lighting in the same location.
