It is absolutely gorgeous this time of year and I snuck in a quick photoshoot while the neighborhood kids were at school. I must confess that I had to look up the proper spelling of the plant, and in so doing, I learned a little of its history. The plants was discovered in 1768 by Admiral Louis de Bougainvillea and the botanical highlight of his voyage now bears his name. The bougainvillea is brazilian in origin, and just like me, it thrives in the sunlight. This 40 image series will be published in two parts this week.

	Superbowl Party 27 images 02/03/2002	One of the great American traditions is the superbowl party and I am going to break out the food trays, tequila and beer and have a party. I also want to share a little secret with you, I began modeling after a similar party (see my "First Shoot" page) and I thought it might be fun to recreate that night. I will be continually posting pictures as the game goes on with updates at least every quarter. I won't have time to do a lot of editing so they will be rough pictures getting posted pretty much real time. I might get crazy or I might not but I thought it would be fun to have a spontaneous shoot that goes with the flow of the game. Yumi is quite a bit taller than me so you might notice that I spent most of the shoot on the counter or in poses that would not show the height differential too much. This series was shot at one of my fan's home. He was generous enough to provide a new shoot location and thanks to Norm Fischer for the photography.
